About this demo
Nurion Edge AI lets an organization run private AI models on infrastructure it already owns — no data ever has to leave the building. This page is a live, working demo of that idea, not a mockup.
Is my data private on this demo?
It depends on which model you pick. Anything routed to a local model runs entirely on-premises hardware — nothing leaves that device. Cloud-model options are shared, hosted AI providers, included here purely for side-by-side comparison. The badge on every response tells you which one actually answered.
What documents can I upload?
PDF, TXT, CSV, DOCX, PPTX, and XLSX, up to 20MB. Legacy binary formats (old-style .doc/.ppt/.xls) aren't supported — please save as the modern format first.
Why does the local model sometimes say "unavailable"?
The local option runs on a real laptop, not a data center — if it's powered off, asleep, or already busy, it'll say so honestly rather than fail silently. That's actually the point: this demo doesn't hide the realities of on-prem hardware.
Is this exactly what a real deployment looks like?
Architecturally, yes — same core pattern of private model + your own documents. This demo simplifies a few things for cost reasons (e.g. shared free-tier cloud models for comparison, a lightweight document-matching approach instead of full vector search) that a production deployment would size properly for your actual scale.
